Incredible work, great idea combining 2 for 1. I am curious, which did you use more of?From the images though I believe your skills exceeded both models capabilities and you would still have ended up with an awesome build what with the detail, rigging and repaint you did beyond either base model. Great work.

I used much more parts from the GPM than from the Dom Bumagi card-kit. The GPM-parts fitted together rather good, but the boats very terrible, so I took them from Dom Bumagi.
Also at the gun-lockingpiece are parts from Dom Bumagi.
Mostly I tried to get the model so near as possible to some ship-photos I had.

Here I have some more pics from the double-winged Waterplane, an Aichi E 11 a "Laura" on its catapult.

....and at last some pics from a 25mm triple-AA-gun Type 96, used on IJN SENDAI only one time, before the bridge.

It is a small photo-etched kit from GPM, scale 1:200. I used superglue to fit and Revell-Aqua-Color to paint it.
I ever use brushes, never airbrush.
