I will be following this one with great interest. Another Master class in session. For all of you who scratch build these things, I am in complete Awe of your talent.

A most interesting ship. This will be a great scratchbuild. Looking forward to following along.

Hey Mike!

What a great start for 2016, with one of your great models. I'm certainly following this project.

Best regards and a happy new year

In case anyone would like to try a simpler version of the ship I would be happy to put the Epinal version of the Jauréguiberry in the downloads section. Still not totally simple... it has the smallest figures I've ever seen in an Epinal.

Hello Mike,
This will be another great and impressive work for you, but also a great and impressive fun for those who will follow it.
I am not a great lover of ships, but I like modeling, experimentation, ideas and in this you are a teacher.
Good job and a good year 2016.

Orazio

Hello John. Thanks.
Regarding USS Oregon: It was my first “attempt” at card modeling, and not a very good one. The hull is made completely of balsa wood. Also there is no rigging and practically no railing. If you would like some images, send me your email address via “Personal Message”.

Note: A much better rendition of this ship was done by Roman Detyna in the buff color scheme. It can be seen at “DigitalNavy.com”.
