What a crazy amount of detail work on this boat!

I would tackle a kit of this quality, not afraid of complexity, but, all those bulkheads..... OY VEY!

New addition

Okay, as some of you may know, I was recently hacked and lost this version of the model so I, "busted my hump" to make it OBSOLETE ASAP!, with the help of the creator of this thread, I was able to do so in less than a month... There are many, many improvements, almost too many to type but I'll, "give it a shot", most notably, the assembly of the main deck has been modified to make it easier to assemble, the galley stove and turret interior have been redesigned to reflect even greater accuracy, in the lower left corner is a PERSONALIZED barcode so I know where each and everyone of them goes, as well as a general, "re-color" all of the cover sheet artwork and 21 pages of illustrations have also been, "brought up to date", this particular example, the barcode reads, "U.S.S. Monitor Ver. 4.0 copyright Fred R. Dressler 2019 to: Michael McMillian"

Aw man, sorry you had to live through all that. Sounds like a true case of rise again and rise above.

Another great feature that this new model has is, every part sheet now has a scale, ten scale feet, subdivided, the last foot in scale inches, this way, the, "experienced modeler" can print it at whatever scale they prefer...

John, we are hoping that it will be soon, due to it's large format 12 inches by 18 inches, getting it reproduced hasn't been easy but there seems to be a fair amount of interest in getting this latest version printed, I'll post it here the minute it becomes available.

20 copies were printed about 15 years ago so it's long over due..

Okay guys, I've made this latest version, "available" as a digital download, it's just a matter of Chris putting it up on ecardmodels.com, so, if you have an interest in this model, direct any inquires to Chris or ecards... (if you get one, let me know)...

Looked on Ecardmodels, but did not find a contact possibility, and I don't have any contact address to Chris, so I probably have to wait until it's on Ecardmodels.
