EDIT: Contacted Chris....said that file size was too large for download. He's checking most recent version sent.

And have you created your account on Ecards models? Account should have the USER NAME as the name you want displayed as the seller/designer of the model, use the email address associated with the paypal account the sales will be sent to and of course, click to apply to be a Vendor.

Great!, I hope that you can get it through the process, it's been 15 years since it's been available, I had Marji register at ecardmodels and apply as the vendor.

If he still has a problem with the size, tell him to contact me and I'll see if it can be, "crunched" a little more..

A few comments on Fredís monitor. Fred kept me up to date and discussed the changes he has made.
First I donít know how he does it but it appears that the model went through a very complete update in less than a month. Fred is absolute wizard using CAD and Coral Draw.
There are color changes, the main deck now represents what we see in photos, namely what appears to be a tar coated deck. More correct detail in the turret based on what has been discovered in the last few years. Other areas have been up dated as well All and all in my opinion this is the most accurate model of the USS Monitor available.

As it has been pointed out the model is designed to be printed on 12 x 18 67Lb card stock. You can purchase this size stock from Kelly Paper. This is 60 Lb card stock 12 x18 specifically for color printing/copy. It is a little thinner (0.008 in) than the typical 67lb (0.0095 in) stock. But the print quality is quite superior too the tropical stock from the office stores. Thr cost was about $30 for 250 sheets. As for the printer there are several photo quality printers on the market selling for $250 to $300. Having this model printed at a copy store . . .will be very pricey. I was lucky and could print out the model at my office. If you scale print the model at 70% you can print it on legal size paper. the scale would be approximately 1/142. and I think it could be built at that scale.

As well as a number of modifications, the re-color was brought up to date, most notably, all of the interior decking has been re-done as well as the main deck now accurately reflects it's tarred surface, the rivet pattern of this deck is straight from the actual construction drawings, note as well the revised, galley stove's exhaust port directly adjacent the turret, while these details may only be able to be viewed using magnification, it's nice to know that they are there.

As I had some legal size card, I printed out the 1st part sheet at 70%. Fits top to bottom, but you lose a bit side to side. At 65% it works. I'm trying to work on a deal at getting it printed at 1/100.
Beautiful graphics, and a "steal" at this price IMO!
