Dear friends,
I finally found a little time to continue on the model. I made some doors, keel and improved planking on the lower part of keel considering to plans and Ab´s instructions. I hope to have more time next months Jan |

abhovi: I made them in the dark brown color, as 1 st wale, and as on each of my ship. Maybe it is unrealistic, but I do it always by this way. I think the result will be quite good ( as on San Salvador, for example ). Jan |

Here its something to consider about wales:
This is a beautiful picture by Willem van de Velde, with several ships on it. None of them has dark wales, except the yacht left in the background. Draw your conclusions... |
