Beautiful Jan, nice to see your ship. It's nice to get the dead eyes done, now going upward will be also beautiful. Have you already made the upper masts?

Beautiful colleague ship, excellent assembly and detailed, everything looks great, sincere congratulations. I remember my old days as a naval modeller in wood, for reasons of physical space leave, so I found the papercraft, and models like yours make this branch of modeling be spectacular. A greeting, wonderful work

Good job. Don't you think it would be easier to make the masts as a whole, complete with sails and place them on the ship after completion?

Thank you, my friends, for your replies

I never leaved this forum, I just had a lot of work last year ( and probably I will have a lot of work this year too )

birder: not yet, but Iīm just working on them.

abhovi: No, I donīt think that this is a good idea. Iīm still building ships from the base to the top. There could be problems to finish the standing rigging ( and probably the running rigging too) and save the geometry. If you ever seen the building progress in this way, please let me know. It could be very interesting.

I just fixed tops and made stays, but now I can continue on next level of masts

Jan

Great photos Jan.
My favorite is that view of the artwork on the stern.
Is it true Anna Maria survived an attack by pirates in the Mediterranean?
(That story appears somewhere on the web)

Thank you, friends.

Michael Mash: sorry Mike, I donīt know nothing about it.

Dear friends, I have just a small update. BTW, one of pics shows you the way Iīm doing ratlines. I think itīs more suitable for ships in scale 1:96 how to use knots.

beautiful model Jan and gorgeous photos showing it off. The ratline template worked well for you as they appear neat and symmetrical. Nicely done sir.
