I use the builder´s model as a basis plus the plans and drawings from The Shipbuilder and Engineering (1907). But of course in some minute details I have to be creative. There are very few exact original pictures available. I think I have matched 90% accuracy so far. That is more than I had expected before I started the Project. Thanks again to Sharunas for the model. Are you planning any other great liners? The Imperator maybe?

I don´t have high-Resolution plans, though. I have to make do with those published by "Engineering" (Warren, Mark D. (Ed.) (1987). The Cunard Turbine-Driven Quadruple Screw Atlantic Liner Mauretania. Reproduced from a 1907 commemorative souvenir edition of Enginieering with new material edited by Mark D. Warren. Wellingborough: Patrick Stephens).

I have finished the forepeak minus the mast and cargo booms. I want to add them last, as not to destroy those protruding parts. The pics show nicely the working gear: winches, hatches, spare anchor, windlasses etc.
