Running to post this before going out with my fiancee.

Starting the drawings to distribute the model. Placed a bit of lead inside to prevent capsizing.

I prefear to paint, but the printed model will be in color.

Sorry, I'm running!

Thanks, jleslie48.

ringmaster, if you are talking about the Kitty Hawk, after making the CV-6 Enterprise I become disappointed with the carriers. Sorry (well... not sorry, just disappointed). The thread is here: 1/700 CV-6 Uss Enterprise

About the Constitution, I finished half the hull, but I feel that it needs to double the amount of ribs. So I'll double them, do the another half of the hull, and if I like it, restart another ship.

Even so, I like how is going on.

And the second half of the hull is finished... and I prefer the original side. C'est la vie!

Well, as I said, this weekend I'll restart another new hull Luckily I promised a copy of this ship to many of my friends

The next step is drawing and placing the sides of the captain gallery and the head timbers... and starting the deck guns

Meanwhile the drawing of the pieces is advancing without problems

Today I'll make the second hull, now using the printed pieces of my own plans. As I said, the finished plans will be in color.

Sometimes I forget to displey the real size of the model in the pictures, here with some paint and over a letter size sheet of paper.

Yes, jleslie48, it seems that there are going to be maybe four or more ships. And you would be doing one yourself too, if you want!

In fact, if there weren't for the instructions and printing of parts, the original two ships would have been finished long ago.

Well, it's a new challenge!

As you can see, the second ship is taking form, and new parts are being added to the parts sheet. I'm thinking about making two sets of masts, one where each mats is one piece, and another one where each mast is divided in two or three pieces like the real ones.

Probably the instructions will finish looking like some plastic model's ones, where you can choose to install bombs or drop tanks. In fack, I'm going to steal the assembly conventions from therm

¿There are 1/700 trains? Good!

Well, I finished the design of the beams with the twin rows of gun holes, the second test ship includes them. The third will be printed in color. I'm starting to test the mast, I will make a set in wood (stews of grass), another in paper clips and the third will be made in stretched plastic.

So far just a mast is made, I'll probably finish all three sets by the weekend. By the way, the paper pieces will be drawn better.
