Great work with the supports. They're often difficult to handle. I'm always fidgety with them...

I need to attempt a green battleship someday.
They really look good that way, and the color sets them apart from all the others.
Nice work Kurt.

Looks terrific! I see what Mike means about green battleships. I had not realized until now that the V.U. was painted in that color, but somehow it seems right for a ship that operated in the Adriatic sea and, as Mike says, "it looks good that way."

Really love your care documenting this build. I have a number of JSC models that I hope to be able to take on someday and your documentation of the first construction steps has already been incredibly educational.

Hello !
For the boat deck of the central nave but some parts are to be processed. These parts are assembled into a filigree work. Next, place the ventilation shafts.
All aboard glue.
The rear fire stand is placed on the deck.

regards

Hello friends !
Now it is here once more again ...
Twelve barrels for the 305 mm cannons, with dampened with water can be well roll the pipes.
The pipes to triplets assemble, internally reinforced with toothpicks.
Assembly of Drilling storms is quite complicated and requires strict adherence to the description.
The rangefinder be placed on the towers.
Next to the tower bases, where the ground I install additionally a cardboard disc.
Now the towers are placed on deck, and already the whole thing looks to warship.

Wow! I have been stuck on the casemates for my Goeben for over a year! You have given me some excellent ideas! By the way, were these ships really painted green?

Thanks!
