Can you tell us how you get such accurate railings? And how do you get such a straight wooden hand grip on top of the railing?

i have built the europa model many times but have never detailed it.i will watch this for sure. i agree it needs an inner frame for strength but its a model i enjoy rebuilding.i got my model from scaldis @16 euro

one thing i was thinking of doing with europa was replacing windows with coloured film and making her into a lamp

The railings are etch parts from Passat Verlag, the top is colored brown

OK, thanks. I checked with Passat, and I saw the 4 railing type ("4 zugig"), nr Z-4. But it didn"t give a scale indiction. Is that the one you bought?
