Hanseat: Re: the Queen Elizabeth. Why not have a go at the Micromodel version? Not your favourite probably, but at least it will fill a (very small) gap in your collection!

Just an update about the forthcoming alternative of the micromodel version - RMS the QUEEN ELIZABETH in 1:250:
Dirk is working on the hull plates also discussing problems about the size here (take a look at the postings before). It seems he is on a well way |

A question from a Newbie at ships. How do you make the rigging so taut and clean, without introducing stress onto the paper parts? Do you use a stiffened thread or wire?

Elastic wiring is also posible !! I used until now only thread, stiffened with glue for my models, but my next will be with elastic wiring !!
