Sailing ship DAR POMORZA (1976) Scale 1/100 made by SZKUTNIK

Ahoj!

Welcome everybody in my first relation on the forum Papermodelers.com

For a few months I stick together the model of the sailing ship DAR POMORZA (-ex. Prinzes Eitel Friedrich)
Scale 1/100. The model is built on the basis of the shipbuilding specifications.
The designing of model in the programme Corel. Sometimes for building I use elements cut-out with the laser.

So......
First step: Skeleton of a structure of hull. (framework) Material: cardboard size 1.0 mm

Very good. Looks like that will be a very sturdy hull.

Most impressive.

As impressive as the ship looks, I am also impressed with how clean and organized your workspace is. Mine is as messy as yours is immaculate.

If the model is as good as the hull is this ought to be an outstanding model. Looking forward to more.

Very nice start, SZKUTNIK!

And - a hearty WELCOME to the forum proper, although we know you well from previous threads and links, particularly with reference to the RMS Titanic and her sister ships RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic!

I am thinking that this *could be* the five-masted steel barque POMMERN (or POMERANIA), built in Scotland in 1903? If it is, I have been aboard this beautful sailing ship, some thirty years ago.

It can now be found as a floating hotel in the Finnish group of islands known as Åland, in the southern Baltic, close to Finland, permanently anchored at the harbour of the main city there, Mariehamn: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pommern_(ship))

And here are some photos: Sailing ship POMMERN (1903) - S

All the best,
Bengt in Stockholm
