RMS Mauretania 1:250
This wil be my new project.
It's a model of JSC, rescaled in co-operation with Scaldis. It is possible to make one of these 4 options I built it in a 1918 painting with the second geometric dazzle scheme designed by Norman Wilkinson: And I started to cut out the first pieces: Fred

They rescale many of their ships - Queen Mary, Queen Mary 2, United States, Elbe Highway, Penelope, Gdansk, Jahre Viking, Mauretania, Mary Arctica, Willift Eagle, Drilling Platform Bredford Dolphin, Atlantic Conveyor, Titanic, Wilhelm Gustloff, Carrier Weser, HMS Roberts, Battleship Grossdeutschland, HMS Renown, Carrier IJN Shinano, HMS Dreadnought, ORP Orzel, Atlantis, Reed Victory, De Ruyter, HMS Lion, SMS Friedrich der Grosse and many more.
I think, they rescale all 1:400 Models to 1:250. Regards Rigo |

I work for Scaldis at fairs
The list that Rigobert post is what Scaldis rescaled from JSC, but we have a lot more in scale 1:250 I had a head start so I wil catch up, the raw ship with in front the Strasbourg also in scale 1:250: I made some reinforcements in the hull: And cut out the dazzle scheme: First some painting: And then....dry-fit, dry-fit, dry-fit....glue with little steps until: after a few hours is this starboard: and port: And so far she is ready. That is my question too, where are they available, because I don't see, for instance, MAURETANIA not for sale at Scaldis in scale 1:250 and also not many of the other models !!

is there a reason that the two missing classic liners ie Queen Elizabeth and france have never been done by jsc,im sure heaps of folks would build them.

John MGD - try to write an email to Scaldis. I think it is a good way to contact them.
