Thank you men,
Michael, it took a lot of time:-))) I didn't check the clock, but probably 10-12 hours (2 long day sessions) There are 13 planks on each side. I don't know who "invented" frames hidden below benches, but Shipyard produces such boats in their kits, so the idea is not mine. The second boat (I wrote above) will be made of "trough". The conections inside will be hidden with the stripes simulating frames. Then I intend to put it upside down into/onto a "prop" made of temporary frames to keep the shape of the hull and then stick planks. Time will show. Best Tomek |

Hi,
At last I made almost everything on the deck. The second boat without frames were made exactly as I described above: Guns are made of paper and wire (0,2 mm) rings. I added some thick glue at the back and sticked a small ball: Small blocks for gun carriages were made of 0,3 mm thick and 0,5 mm wide cardboard strips glued on simple cardboard (about 0,1 mm thick). Then I cut off blocks: Then I put everything together and here it is: And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tomek |

Beautiful work. I, too, love how you made the cannons and how they turrned out. Also liking your blocks.

Hello Tomek:
Your ship looks great. The small boat building techniques are fascinating. You have a lot of clever ideas that seem to work out nicely. Mike |
