One of my favorite ships. Looks very impressive. I can't wait to see more.

ShipYard Kits

Interested in your Endeavour model. Have just bought H.M.Sloop of War WOLF from the same firm (my first card model)! I am proposing to finish the deck and topside planking with holly and cherry respectively using shavings that are steamed and then flattened. I will let you know how it works out.

From "Bonetta" ..... one of the Royal Navy's first sloops of war.

Thanks for the kind comments. Not much got done recently.
The inner skin is on and will have to be vigorously sanded.
The captains cabin has some details, the rudder post trunk with the side seats.
I don't know what the semi-circular things are. The notches are for deck beams.
All of this will be hidden by the deck unless one peeks through the stern windows.
The last pic has the deck support piece temporarily slid into place.
cheers Jim

Fine work in all phases of your work, Jim, and this is no exception.

Nice to see more images Jim.
It required many pieces to shape that hull.
Excellent work.

Just a quick update, the beams over the captains cabin.
They look nice but have very little strength.
I just noticed that the kit has parts to build a chest, a table and chairs for the cabin.
This will all be non visible so I will pass.
cheers Jim

I admire your neat, precise and clean work Jim; it's something I aspire to some day. Working on it.
