Nice looking hull, always fun to see a shipyard kit " in the shipyard"!

Thanks all for the kind words. Just starting to put the outer skins on.
It's hard to make these large pieces fit tightly. So many variables. I think there are trim pieces to cover the gaps. Hope so. cheers Jim |

Some progress, the port side bottom planks.
There are obvious blemishes but it will have to do. BTW there are two parts 66p and no 66l but this obvious labeling glitch shouldn't faze anyone. cheers Jim |

Not much progress considering the time elapsed.
Planking finished and the keel. The channels and some of the trim between them. Note how small the mizzen channel is and the small mast size. Seems the mizzen mast on this era vessels gets very little respect. cheers Jim |

Hi everyone, some small progress.
Brace pieces on the channels, the small ventilation doors and ladders down to the depths. The thing just by the fore channels in the last pic looks like some kind of sliding door. The little hooch on the front deck has a ladder but I couldn't get enough light down to photograph it. cheers Jim |

It has been a month and not much done.
Just the support cradle and the railings with the funny posts. I noticed on the running rigging diagram that each of the posts has a line assigned to it. So maybe these are used as belaying pins. cheers Jim |
