HM bark Endeavour, Shipyard + laser kit, 1:96

Hi all,
Starting up a new project. The Lexington got sort of finished and is in the USS Constitution show in Boston, but not for judging.

Another Shipyard kit, Cook's armed expedition ship HM Endeavour.
Also the laser cut kit. The fit of parts is excellent.
As in the Lexington the instructions are very brief.
"Build using the pieces in their numerical order."
That is Roman numerals - Letters - and then numbers
It actually works pretty well. Up to part 11.

I like the way the officers country is detailed. Unfortunately that will not be very visible
in the final model. Very enjoyable model so far.
cheers Jim

I've always wanted to build this kit. I'll watch quietly.

A little bit of progress.
The captains heating furnace and the cook stove, also crew heat.
The forward deck, using the mast as a location pin and the mid deck.
cheers Jim

Fantastic so far. Anxious to see the progress of this ship. Would love to build one, someday.

Love seeing these compound-curvy ships come together. Some day I'll try my hand at one but until then I'll just watch--awestruck!

Thanks for the kind words. Not much progress, just the under surfacing on the hull.
I was a little spooked when the arrows reversed but the numbers reversed also
and match the print so it seems OK.
