Counter stern 2

Hi all,
My counter stern model of a coastal passenger cargo vessel now is ready and is seen here going on his way. I had a photo of a pass/cargo ship in Venice, but had no plans or dimensions for her. Could not resist in not making a model. So I made a freelance model with some modification. I like it very much.
regards

My Sea

Hi Kazziga,
Thanks for your question. In Christmas I got a box of assorted chocolates, now forgot the trade mark, which had a false bottom card of about 1/8th of an inch which was gold in colour and it had slight groves in it that resembled sea ripples. I said that is very good to make it as my water. So I had a thin of enamel paint of Gloss Corn flower blue and gave two coats and when the paint dried and put a model on it, I was astonished. Not only I could see the model reflection but also a distorted reflection as if it was a real sea. I will take a photo of this chocolate box bottom card which is not painted and publish it here.
Regards

My Sea.

This is the card I use as my water. It has groves which make the surface look like sea ripples when painted.
