I tried a multiple build a few years back with Kongo, Hiei, Fuso, and Ise and found an economy of scale can be had. Also moving back and forth helps mitigate the staleness that sometimes sets in when working one project for extended periods. This was easy on the BB's since they shared common artillery, boats, etc. But it also worked well with the cruisers.

I'm working some smaller projects but may attempt this multi-build method on some carriers next, Hornet, Akagi, Kaga, and possibly Graf Zeppelin. Although that may be too much of a bite. Still pondering, plus I don't have frames for the Kaga not to mention the Dom Bumagi's Kaga is printed so dark I even struggle to see the fold lines.
