Narrowboat Rousham 1:250

Hi all,

looking for british boats for a diorama I found again Gunnar Sillen's Narrowboat.
-> BILDRUMS KLIPPARK PAPER CUT OUT MODELS

I rescaled it from 1:87 to 1:250 and it gave a nice little model.

Here are some pictures.

Regards
Dieter

Such a wonderful job and a lovely little narrow boat.

Your folds are so neat and crisp.

I know how difficult it is to work in 1/250 as I building Hamburg Harbour in 1/250.

A pleasure to see your work, Wunderbar.

Narrowboats are interesting. That's going to make a nice scene.
And then I want to say something like, "Oh my gosh, how do you put together something that small!?" but I'm pretty sure the answer would be "You assemble it."

Suspecting you may already have the book, given your existing canal experience, I'm going to tell about this reprint of a 1944 book because who knows who out there might be interested. It is informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading.
We don't have many canals here in central Missouri but I do live in an antebellum river landing town on the Missouri River.

And somewhere along the way I'll get working on that cardboard and balsa creation again. It is more or less a waterline model for use on a potential Gn15 scale/gauge model railroad.
