Hello Llaut,
I was also thinking of buying this model, you did a very good job with it, the only thing I have to buy too is a Harley Davidson, to get this tow hook spring I also looked for the original on the internet, but found nothing, not even one that looked as the BULLDOG. Did you find anything of the original ship, because I like always to bring on extra details on a model ! John. |

Hello John MGD
I modified this Schreiber Bögen model and I also made it 50% larger, maybe at 1/75 scale (original is 1/100). If you notice, the bridge of my model is more "light" than that of the kit. In the original kit, there is a very important defect, and that is that the cover is not at the level of the scuppers to evacuate the water. I had to take off the cover once mounted, and supplement it, so that they were just the lower level. I put you a picture when it was misplaced The DANFORT anchor was an addition of mine You can look for the kit here https://www.papel3d.com/en/merchant-...r-bulldog.html Greetings from Spain |

Firstly, congratulations on a brilliant job building the Bulldog, simply grand.
Secondly, look at the picture on the front of the kit, you can see the scuppers are above the deck level, obviously you are more observant than the publishers and designer. Thirdly, I can't for the life of me think why a HD would have tug type tow hook. Q..What do Harleys and cattle dogs have in common? A.. After a days run they both need a ride home in a pickup truck.

Well the spring is very small, but I liked that it was on the boat. My Harley has never stopped me on the road and I bought it in 1994 .. But it's true that I fix it myself and take care of it a lot I would love to travel to Australia, I was always fascinated by that continent Regards |
