Hms invincible jsc/scaldis

Well my latest buy arrived today.She is the carrier HMS Invincible which saw service in the falklands war.The model itself is the jsc model but rescaled to 1;250 by scaldis .Sheets are large,im guessing a3 so i have to resist temptation to start until i get them to library and scan them to cover for any ''Deliberate mistakes''

Got one pack of laser [parts consisting of davits,boats,chopper blades,radar etc but they need painting so not sure if i will use them.Never have use laser parts before .will start a build just as soon as i get sheets copied.Looks like she will be a beauty

Cant believe this conflict was 35 years ago.I was on the Canberra at the time

im keen to get her started but dare not until i have copies in case of errors and as this model is at a3 i have to take them elsewhere to do it as my scanner is only a4.
please note that the 1;250 version of this model is not purchased from jsc but from scaldis and the model number is 60s

Invincible was launched 3 may 1977 and commisioned 11th july 1980.Classified at time of building as an anti submarine cruiser.She was later reclassified to light aircraft carrier.One of a class of three ships,the other 2 being illustrious and ark royal.

ok so at moment i am loading all sheets onto a flash drive so i can get copies of any botch up.i started to panic when i saw the size of the aircraft at 1;250

That's part of the beauty. A full air wing, that by know, you may complement with your Atlantic Conveyor Harriers, Wessex, and Lynx enlarged to 160%
