Those figures look very impressive. They are excellent renderings considering the drawings you had to use.

Fabulous work Doris.
I really like the sculpting.
It looks like a good method to try on the bow decoration of my next project.

I have a wonderful book by Richard Enson, describing the building and career of the Lenox (1680), a 3rd rate ship of theEnglish fleet. I am trying to make a model of the vessel, but will not show it here, because it is not worth standing in the shadow of your work.
Nevertheless, he gives a clear picture of the location and construction of the toilets in the beak-head. I show them here, together with what I made of it on my model.
Hope this helps.

Glad to see your Sovereign. We in the US never had a "Dollar" of the Seas

Hello dear friends,
thank you for your kind words and comments, I appreciate your support a lot.
Now I am working on decoration at the bow; mainly caryatides and decorative moldings. Sometimes it is not easy to adapt all parts together, so I have to create new ones and try again. You can also compare the bow of Royal Katherine with my older card model - Sovereign of the Seas.

And, of course, my feathered assistant is also presented there....

SCEtoAUX: Well, I still look for better possibilities and ways to make nicer decoration. I will take a lot of pics also from process that could help you and other people in your work.

abhovi: Thank you very much for your advice. I know this book and I have already ordered it from UK. I hope it will arrive soon.
I wish you a lot of success with the build of this beautiful ship. I would like to build her as my future project as well.

RdK: That is nice, I am glad my project inspired you. I have also only a little time for my hobbies, so I continue now very slowly. I hope it will be better during winter.

Best regards and enjoy the pics
Doris

Good Morning to you and your feathered assistant Doris.
The gold decorations continue to offer inspiration.
The horse on the bow is perfect.

The details always slow down the process, but they definitely add to the visual awesomeness
