Gremir Novgorod

not sure how consistent I'll be with this thread, but I'll try.

Started this one yesterday. Got the frame cobbled together after studying the pieces awhile. fit was OK but not perfect. Anyway, here are pictures...

Watching with interest. I've got the old ProModel(?) kit that is still in my stack of models.

What a bizarre boat(?). Ship? Floating battery? I'm not sure what to call it. I'm looking forward to watching your build.

It ended up being a coastal monitor since its seagoing characteristics were rather poor.

Much burnishing and bond paper joining strips are helping make a relatively smooth lower hull.

Glad to see you building this one, Greg.

It was, indeed, and unusual ship. I have often looked at it on the Gremir site, and will be happy to see it take shape under your capable hands.
