Hi Jim I see you thinking ahead for these lines, which is fun to do..I was going to ask about the spider band how you did it, but you have an earlier picture that shows ...fun to follow your progress as am following you in rigging.. mine is from 1832 before cable rope but lots of similarities still..
Having fun watching the progress

It has been a while and not much progress, but the main yard has been fabricated and
hung and the main mast glued in place. The chain main topsail sheets are just hanging for now. The main yard braces are just draped to keep it from swinging. All of this stuff will get hooked up eventually. cheers Jim |

Some small progress. The main braces and the fore, fore top and fore topgallant braces
are hooked up along with 2 of the main stays. The lines are all tan although some look white. It is just the lighting. I will be absent for a while as I am to have a triple bypass operation tomorrow. See you all when I return. cheers Jim |

Thank you fiends for the good wishes, they are very appreciated.
I am back home but in no shape for modeling. Bloated with water and stupefied from the medication. But it's good to be home. cheers Jim |

Hello all, I have been a ling time absent.
Not much motivation to work on the model until recently. And only a little progress at that. The chain main topsail sheets have their tackle connected and the main stays and backstays are installed. Also the halyards and downhauls for the main staysail and main top staysail. Next step to fabricate the other 3 main yards. cheers Jim |
