Thanks Birder, have to have the fid. Actually useful for lining things up.
Below some more progress on the mizzen mast and some of the yards.
Last picture showing how the crojak attaches to the mizzen. It will be supported by a chain.
The other two are the main topgalant and main royal yards.

cheers Jim

Well it's been month with little progress.
I did get the railings around the fore deck in place.
They look too big but they scale out to 3 feet. The ship is just small. Boy size.
Also the main topgalant yard is finished and hung in place
and some small progress on the mizzen mast.
cheers Jim

Image 1824 gives a detailed view of the rigging and chain. Very nice.
Where do you purchase the chain from?
Are you using one standard size (links per inch) throughout, or does it vary for different uses?

Thanks Abhovi and Mike.

I would assume that different sizes were used according to the load,
but I don't know what the sizes were. So I am using the rule of "That looks about right".

The chain is a bit pricey. I bought 12 feet of 27 links/inch from "Builders in Scale"

and I am using it everywhere.

Thanks Birder, we seem to be tracking one another.
My mizzen mast is almost done, just need the lower shrouds.
Also the main royal yard is finally in.

I am planning to glue the yards to the mizzen before installing it for build convenience.

The main side pinrails still have one more pin to fill, the mizzen royal braces.
Once these are in I can put stuff behind the main particularly the chain halyards.
This should leave the space between the masts relatively open for installing the
braces and stays. Hope I am not overthink this!
cheers Jim

Finally the mizzen is done, more or less.
I have prefabricated it before installing. Now to find out if this was a good idea.
All of the lines going to the side pinrails are in and secured by the holes in the top.
The next step is to glue the mast in and see if this plan worked.
cheers Jim
