So why have it on their site? A pointless exercise in the extreme.....

Guys, the model of the TICONDEROGA on Fentens site is already a real old one, it was for sale many years ago, when I bought it, but until now, never build it :( So Herky the model was released, many, many years ago by HMV, which company not exist anymore, at least not as a selling company it does, business was taken over by Fentens.
HMV still designs card models, see here: https://www.facebook.com/HamburgerModellbaubogenVerlag/
TICONDEROGA is indeed classified as "Sold Out" on Fentens web page :(
But for people who are interested in a building report of the model, look here:
HMV USS Ticonderoga - Bauberichte Schiffe - Kartonbau.de - Alles rund um Papiermodelle, Kartonmodellbau und Bastelbogen
And here for a gallery of the finished model:
[GALERIE] USS Ticonderoga vom HMV - Galerie Schiffe - Kartonbau.de - Alles rund um Papiermodelle, Kartonmodellbau und Bastelbogen
And here the model enlarged to scale 1:200:
U.S.S. Ticonderoga CG47 von HMV auf 1:200 vergrößert
And here a build on our own Papermodelers.com forum:
USS Ticonderoga (CG-47) - 1:250 - HMV
Hope this brings a little light into things.

John.

I am developing the model by adding new idea into it. Working with automobile jig and die helping me observe how the actual engineering is doing. With the consult from Royal Thai Navy and Rick, The new model will be big with the internal former which enable us to shape the proper hull than the previous model. I am working on the new Frigate ship.. H.T.M.S. Tha-jin. Will come back to your people soon.

OK,

I know most of you are looking for a 1/350 scale version, but once upon a time there was a website which had 1/700 Ticonderoga & Arleigh Burke waterline models as a free download (there were several other US & Soviet models as well).

The name of the artist given was Yukiyuji & the site & the models had a "The Lily of the Valley Studio" logo on them.

I could not find this site on the IA Wayback Machine. Maybe some of you will be luckier.

Just sayin'

Looking through my archives I found the following model files by Yukiuji:
aircraft1
aircraft2
burke
cvn75
FFG7V
frunze (the file name reads frunze, the pages in the file are kirov)
kirove
tico
TingYuen

The aircraft files look to be a bunch of aircraft to display on the flight deck of the carrier.

Are these digital either free or purchase or are they printed? If so from where?
