But I also understand how demand works. Either way I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the DDG-53 version of this model when it is ready! |

Compare the size between LCS4 and the Arliegh Burke with the Nimitz.

Dear customers,
I hope that some of my customer might visit this page and looking for additional information for helping assembly the ship model. Many may wonder how to make the hull? After you glue the cut parts, the hull, glue them with tiny glue then wait until it is properly dry. Start folding the shape lightly by using ruler to shape the roughly curve along the under body line, fold them like a box then use the round object such as a water pipe to make the curve. Lock them with provided reenforced paper, recommend to use 1 mm to re-enforced this part to prevent the future bent. You will find the tri-angle at the head, glue them after you fit the head together before add an inner to lock them. Check the symmetry and the balance of the hull before fit the end cover. The deck can fit properly if the hull is properly flat.

What I find a bit pity is that the fore deck of your model of Arleigh Burke is a bit too steep, and maybe somewhat too short.

Well, I am not yet building Arleigh Burke, but I am thinking of building a scratch model of the ship in the near future. I have plans of the ship from the Polish magazine Modelarstwo Okretowe, and I have hundreds of photographs of the Arleigh Burke class ships.
