The previous Owner of the ship (then named SEAWISE GIANT) ordered Sumitomo Shipyard to lengthen the ship (it was called Jumboizing then) to make it the largest ship in the world. The shipyard suggested that the ship was so long the sagging and hogging might break the ship in two. Hence the huge stiffeners on deck that you are working on now. Great work so far. Auk Vissers tanker website shows many photos including her conversion. Well worth a visit. Auke Visserīs International Super Tankers

Thanks for this information! The website from Auke Visser is awesome, i can use the photo's for the details, thanks again.

160 squares fold to triangles, glue, paint the cutting edges and glue on the ship.
Sounds easy but toke me a few hours.
But, port is also ready




Now going on with the deckhouse:


I don't like the stairs on the stiffeners, this weekend I will visit Scaldis and look for some laser stairs
