Good grief - I did not realize they were that complex.

I see now the issue you face with the bigger ones. Have you contacted them about the laser part mistake? If I was you I would do so and send them some photos of your progress as well to show them you are a serious builder with work in progress - you may well get sent the parts you need! It's worth a try.......

Nah, I'm not going to trust Ghana postal services with that.
But I've found a solution - stay tuned...

No. I wouldn't trust the postal service either. I used to give our HO address in London and then get someone flying out to carry stuff!

Here's the solution to the problem. Not as thin as the lasercut parts, but it's workable.

Now here come the big ones. I have alternated the lasercut and the handcut ribs.

Good solution Marco - I was wondering if you going to do something like that. For some reason I kept thinking bottom halves, but your solution is far better.....

Nice save Marco. It's hard to tell the difference between the two. A very elegant solution!

Thanks - yes, I considered doing the bottom halves hand-cut at first, but a test fit of symmetrical alternating ribs turned out better than expected.

On with the diagonal struts. I'll touch up the colour later.
