Chris's 15mm scale Sekibune
Chris released his Samurai Fleet Builder Series for 28-30mm Wargaming ( Samurai Fleet Builder - Papierschnitzel | DriveThruRPG.com )and is preparing to release a 15mm version and asked for a test-builder. There were a few things that needed adjustment, but it was pretty good to begin with and there were no insurmountable problems. And those were fixed as I found them.
Keep in mind, I am not a ship builder as a rule and this is my first attempt at rigging.

Looks good VK. And I think you did a good rigging job. What did you use to rig it?

Nice work, Dave! I am glad to see someone building Chris's historic Japanese models.

For rigging, I used thin tan thread. I read in the forum somewhere about someone using thread soaked in pva, dried hanging under weight. I thought pva would create a mess since I had no clue what I was doing, so I cut lengths of thread that I clipped to a hanger, with clothes pins hanging from the ends.
Hung this out on the porch and gave it several shots of matte clear coat. I'd hoped to get rigid thread wires to cut to length, but ended up with semi-rigid threads, but it worked
