Outstanding model again. It is always a pleasure to view your work.
I wish I could remember what it was that I received from one of the companies I work with, but two years ago or longer I got a 'gift' from the company that had a wonderful clear cover for the box they sent me (it may have been the coin-sorter they sent me). It had a short bottom box that it sat in, and a clear plastic cover. The clear plastic had only one seam and clear flaps that interlock on top. Something like that over your ships would make the housekeeper much happier, I am sure

Ab, that sternpiece is magnificent. I could watch rigging all day specially from a master craftsman such as yourself. The whole ship is absolutely marvelous. Looking forward to the pictures from you and your son!!

Exquisite work Ab.
She looks marvelous, with all the flags flying! I you decide she takes up too much space, let me know, I'll make room for her. Mike |

Thank you all.
Vermin_King: indeed a showcase is the best way to keep these objects in good shape. Sadly enough they also look very ugly in a living room. Like a big ice cube. Paper models are not made for eternity. Nothing is. You just have to take it as it is. When it is their time, it's their time. The fun was building them. The rest is irrelevant. |

Excellent model, as always, Ab. This one is a true masterpiece
And... thank you very much for photos of completing masts, yards and finishing of standing rigging. NOW I understand to your way of rigging. Jan |

That reminds me of my promise to show some better pictures of the model and a photoshop painting by my son. Well, here they are. I hope you like them: |
