Amazing model and great photoshop painting with the fire ship added. The addition of crew members brings the model alive!

I love looking at perfection Ab and your models certainly fit the bill. Just spent an enjoyable hour looking at the magnified pics especially the last one. You and your son make an exceptional team. Thank you for sharing pics of your latest model with us!

This time I just want to show you the ultimate plate of my paper ship models. Here we have scene from the Battle of the Sound in 1658 with the castle of Kronborg in the distance.
I don't know about you, but I really love this picture. We printed it on 1,5 metro long and the result was excellent.

Hope you enjoy.

Once again you and your son have outdone yourselves. I do believe this could be considered a masterwork. If I may, what does the red flag with a yellow horn(?) on it flying from the stern of the Dutch warship in the center of the picture signify?

Thank you.

The flag shows an arm which holds a sword. It was the sign to attack the enemy. You can see it on this painting:

A 17th century Dutch man-of-war (around 1660)-schermafbeelding-2018-05-12-om-07.16.04.png

The Dutch fleet intervened here in a conflict between Sweden and Denmark, controlling the Sound, the main gateway to the Baltics. Bad for our trade...
