This build is awesome! I have scratch built several sailing vessels from original plans, all in 1/1200 scale. I have never been brave enough to attempt one so large. Very nice work!

The Parts of the lower deck.
From here on I will refer to pictures of the real ship, as the plans don't reveal all the details. I saved the cot outs of the decks. gluing some paper strips on it to simulate planking, some borders, accessories and paint, it should fit exactly. |

Cutting paper strips, paint then with burnt umber to finish the deck. This is a transparent acrylic paint simulating wood structure just with brush strokes.

For the hull, 2mm strips glued on 3mm strips, painted and put on the hull just on the color separation.
And on the back of the ship. The windows are made with rope. |
