Christmas gift: Old Wooden Block

Hello everybody.
I decided to make Christmas gift to my friends. And here the result you can see.
Christmas gift: Old Wooden Block-breloque-03.jpg
Old Wooden Block pendant is a lessen copy of real wooden block which used in sail ships in XVI-XVII cen. Old wooden block made from oak in old fabrication technique. It contains nielloed copper detailes and jute rope strop. Covered by linseed oil. Hand made item. There are different colors of serve of eye. Ring and spring hook are made from stainless steel.
Now it is need to fit a ship to this blocks... :-)

Blocks I have made by my hand.... And if say detailed I made them accordance to old technology which descraibed in shipmodeling books. Exactly. Here is a link on one of most better way of block making. In my opinion. Traditional Maritime Skills :: Making Blocks Good luck!
