Designed the planking on the lower deck.

What should I use, Dark brown wood or gray wood.
I find the gray one somewhat special and mystical strange and this with black canons, hmmm.

In keeping with the character of the ship I would choose grey.

Start building the hull structure.

On the same time I build an inner deck, I call it canon deck.
This give strength, keeps the hull strait and can use it later to support the canons.
