Trieste?

I've been seeing photos on my Facebook card modeling feed from various model contests in Europe that show builds of a fairly detailed Trieste bathyscaphe. I've been unable to find the model online. Anybody familiar with the model? (And it's not the one in our downloads section....)

I'm about 95% of the way through building the WAK model of the "Trieste" and I would say it is indeed a nice kit.

Searching google images I first found it on a well known freebie site, but fairly recently discredited as a pirate.

But none of his DL links are working. All showing item removed.

Next I found this, showing it from WAK ... one of our members ...

It is available to buy from here ... https://www.super-hobby.com/products...-batyskaf.html

As far as I know these are not Pirates.

It looks an interesting model but way too large for me to go with.

Thanks, all. I believe the Model Kartonowy one is the one I've been seeing. I was looking for one that is downloadable (even at a price) because I live in Kuwait and "mail" is a foreign concept here....

I'd also love an accurate model of Alvin....

Soryy, we have no Trieste here, but there are several more recent deep submergence vessels that have been paper modeled on the site below,

The site also has deformed car paper models.

JAMSTEC | Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology has generously provided paper models of its submersibles, tender vessels, and sea creatures to children of all ages:
https://www.jamstec.go.jp/j/museum/p...aft/index.html
Explore the site and you will also find models of mainframe computers which are kind of interesting to us old folks who remember room sized computers, drive units as big as refrigerators, and printers the size of Mini Coopers.
There is a string actuated make it yourself remote gripper and a video of a spiny lithodes.

Since you asked for the Trieste and the Alvin, here is a photo of both together. They are at the old Navy Yard in Washington, DC. Hope you enjoy the photo.
