Here are a couple of screenshots of my latest project. An opponent, also in 1/600 scale, for my Gridleys. There remains some work to do yet - masts and small details. Then, explode the solids forms into flat parts, and so on.

These are perfect, here I was in heaven with your and Lou’s destroyers, and now more! Who knows when I will find time to build them all, but they are very much appreciated. If wishes were horses, I would beg for some light and heavy cruisers to go with them too, but I will be thankful for whatever you guys gift us with.

I think I have the 3D model pretty much ready. Four views are attached. Now to break it down into parts. Due to the complexity of some of the shapes, I expect I will simplify some of them a bit.

Looking good, and BTW your 1/600 are really nice, and enlarged to 1/400 they fit in a ledger page.

The beta is done and I'm working on the instructions. First ship is IJN Shigure, Captain Tameichi Hara's flagship of DesDiv 27. Two photos of the beta are attached. I am still tweaking the model. The foremast should be sloped back a tad, and the mainmast and all the braces are missing in this beta. I am also re-doing the small boats and davits.
