I'm a bit late to this party. You asked back on page 1 if anyone had any advice on this model. I have the tropo version about 80% completed. The page you just finished was by far the most difficult series of steps so far. Fitting the bridge superstructure to the deck was a bit of a pain, too. Nothing insurmountable, though.

Did some more work on the front deck-houses, and the beginnings of the bridge structure:
The deck is cambered, and slopes up towards the bows, so I tried to get the tops of the structures as horizontal as possible using a steel rule balanced in the roofs, and another Perspex rule to sight against: This way, I can keep everything within the levelling limits of blobs of PVA as I build the structures up. |
