Thank you men,
I added two planks more on each side and covered the deck with boards. Then I created the mast base. Details on the pictures. Best Tomek |

That looks really fantastic, the model really captures the construction well. The hull planking detail adds realism that is rarely captured on models.

A work of art. Clinker built boats are extremely difficult to model.

This looks great. I have some prototype of a "gaming" version of this on my shelf. If all goes well, it should be an easy build (simplified shape and above water line) for tabletop gamers in the scale for 28-30mm figures. So quite long. How long is yours going to be?
Will follow this with great interest. I love the shape of this boat type. It's a design marvel and you are replicating it masterful in paper! Chris

Thank you Mike, Ab and Chris
Chris, I chose a strange scale 1:75, so it is 30 cm long. Tomek |

Clinker Hull
Seahorse,
Great development of the clinker built hull. I'll be with your for the rest of the build. -Gil |

Wonderful build. It's a shame that you designed the model in 1/75 and not 1/72. The exist a lot of fine figures to build a diorama. Will you create a kit form your design? I am interested in the planking theme, because I like to build the ship in a slightly bigger scale.

Not too small. I like it My prototypes are around 50cm. I make it for 28-30mm figures. I have no idea what the scale is but designed it by eye balling it. I will try to find out the right scale according to your measurements.
