Japanese Village buildings
I have started working on a village in the feudal Japan era (Sengoku). This is a first look at the first building.
Still pristine and not weathered yet, but what do you say? Does it capture the image of that era?

Looks great, can't wait for a village. Now I will have an excuse to paint up a set of Samurai figs somewhere up in the loft. What will the scale be?

My usual print at 100% = 28-30mm scale ... or at 50% = 15mm etc. I think if you would print the A4 pages on A3 it should be perfect for Playmobil :-)

Looks good.
Just thinking if there is a watermill we could do Seven Samurai. But then we would have to burn it down.

You have done a good job of capturing the appearance of the building.

Very nice! But forgive me for showing my age. When I saw the topic line "Japanese Village buildings", I immediately flashed back to THIS Japanese Village:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japane..._and_Deer_Park https://la.curbed.com/maps/old-amuse...es-defunct-map When you release your Japanese Village, can you include a few Nara deer for old time's sake? David T. Okamura |
