I downloaded some railings somewhere a few years ago, I now print them out on 65lb card in a scale that looks about right. I then, laboriously cut them out and cut to length.

Hade some computer/HD problems and a death in the family that has taken up my time. Some progress on the USS Phoenix, and a stand for the ship too.

Looks great Padre. Glad you're back on Phoenix.
It's like looking in the mirror from my perspective. This is such a great kit!

Clean straight work Padre. I like the look of all those gun turrets.
Mike p.s. I just noticed those images of the searchlight platforms you posted a while back. Those are exquisite. Its always a treat to see someone do great work on those kinds of structures. |

Outstanding work on the main battery turrets and rifle barrels. Beautifully straight and true.

Looking very nice Padre. I'm impressed with how neat the curves look at the deck line and elsewhere. Are those parts laser cut or is it expert knife work? That long shot impresses with how straight the hull is.
