The weathering is complete. Here is a look at an old, used pirate boat with the swivel guns and (removable) flag added!

I am happy how the rig details turned out. I think I have covered all the important parts of the rig and with it all being removable should make gaming as fun as just enjoying the looks of the full model on a display shelf.

There are minor details that I see now, that I could add. What do guys think? Can I stop here?

When you take all the sailing rig off, you can see the details better ...

Finally put in a crew of Pirates!

Chris

Thumbs up

Looks good now. What kind of minor details are you contemplating?

Good question. It looks so much better than similar gaming models that are available

The one "big" detail that I miss is the lines that hold the top gaff sail boom. I might add them later as an option if there is much interest.

For now I am happy to wrap it all up and make it ready for launch.

I'm with Doug & VK - this looks so much better than what's currently available on the gaming market. With all the work you've put into it thus far I think you should see whether or not adding the top gaff sail boom lines would make the boat too crowded to put a crew on before you go to market. Just my humble opinion. ymmv

I think it looks great and very representative as it is.

There comes a time when you have to call a stop to the detail and now is probably the right time!

Well done - a great model!

Reading your comments, I realize, that everything I have added until now had a function ... holding something in place, stabilizing the rig. This sounds like a good criteria to draw the line.

I'll leave it to modders then to add more if they want.

That's what I was trying to say, only I used a lot more words and was less clear than Kevin and you Chris.

I needed both your comments. The longs worded ones softened the knot in my mind and the short ones the were able to break it :-)
