Fletcher-class destroyer USS Leutze DD-481
Recently finished ship. USS Leutze DD-481. Model Card model resized from 1/200 to 1/144. Railings and other smaller details were made entirely from scratch. Stand, flag and pictures are my grandson's work.

It looks magnificent, the detail it has is fabulous, it will have given a nice job to build all that. Beautiful model, very well done!

What an absolute beauty! That is 1/144?! I did a 1/350 Tamiya "click it and stick it" Fletcher back in my naughty years and it looked like a toy next to the detail in this!! That is just stunning. Did you serve aboard a destroyer? It is very obvious you have a real Love for these ships. So this jewel must be like almost 3 feet long? (Not quite 1 meter in sensible measurement) It is hard to believe this is really paper. You and your son can be very proud..
