Fletcher-class destroyer USS Leutze DD-481

Recently finished ship. USS Leutze DD-481. Model Card model resized from 1/200 to 1/144. Railings and other smaller details were made entirely from scratch. Stand, flag and pictures are my grandson's work.

Few articles about this Fletcher-class destroyer:

Muhy Suuwweeettt Laarrdd!

What an absolute beauty! That is 1/144?! I did a 1/350 Tamiya "click it and stick it" Fletcher back in my naughty years and it looked like a toy next to the detail in this!!

That is just stunning. Did you serve aboard a destroyer? It is very obvious you have a real Love for these ships.

So this jewel must be like almost 3 feet long? (Not quite 1 meter in sensible measurement) It is hard to believe this is really paper.

You and your son can be very proud..
