Fins glued and the two halves joined
 New base printed and put together  Yahooooooo got to finish one of mine and my fingers still working   New base uploaded and awaiting the usual clearance

Great model, love the new base! Voyage is my favorite Irwin Allen series even if I never figured out how torpedoes fired from the aft tubes emerged from the front of Seaview

From memory, Moebius did a 1/128 standalone model of the FS that included a printed interior. Have no idea where my one is to check but wondering people with this model could enlarge the printed parts to make an interior for Gary's model..?

My quick build of the Flying Sub. I messed up the pieces for the front window and had to cut them out and reassemble them. Maybe next time I should look at the directions first. The black strakes and airlock section at the bottom of the sub didn’t fit well. I would recommend attaching the strakes before gluing the top and bottom sections together. Also would recommend attaching the bottom airlock part to the outer hull, rather than the center tube section. Just a quick build of an interesting design. I hope Gary is doing well, he hasn’t posted here in a while.
