A titanic project of olympic proportions?
Nah, the ship itself is only 9 inches long (22 cm 1:1200) Here's a preview of the ship in dock. Both models are still under construction. The A deck promenade part has to be replaced for an open one, depicting the RMS Olympic. With regards, Jerry

The ship is my repaint into Olympic derived from Currell Graphic's Titanic.
Indeed, this and my other deriviations are available via his site. https://currell.net/models/olympic.htm Jerry

Today some rigging and a lower hull have been added.
The lower hull doesn't fit correctly everywhere, but as this was designed to be a waterline model, I think it's looking good anyway. And most of the hull would be obscured by the dock anyway. With regards, Jerry

Wanted to make the floating diorama less static, so I designed and build some tugs. Probably the smallest papermodels I've ever build.

Thanks C!
Today I have been working on the diorama and it is now nearly finished, just some small details to be added. The entire model has now been placed inside a small glass case. The Olympic itself is not is cleanly build as I like, but the overall appearance of the diorama looks nice to me: Onward to the last parts, Jerry

Last night I finished my Southampton Floating dock diorama.
I build two very small cranes and added them to the dock. This morning I took some daylight photographs for better viewing of the diorama: One of the small cranes added tot the dock And some daylight photographs: The scale of the diorama is 1:1200. The Olympic is about 9 inches long. With regards, Jerry
