Hi Kevin ,

yes , the ship is much more difficult as I think bevor I start it

and continue in the shipyard ...

The bulwark supports come from the laser set ... and are glued to the bollards at the bow

The parts 98 from the laser set with colored edges ... glued to the deck

Lots of paper for the filigree windlass ... which is an alternative, you can leave it in the printed version

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Hi Kurt!

Nice progress here. Those are really small parts! I like the windlass. Well done!

Bravo!

Thanks to Radek and Greg

and further ...

Now the supports for the starboard side ... first fit the uprights ...

.. I divide the panel into individual segments ... in order to be able to assemble them piece by piece

Now the ladder can also be installed on the small crane

Yours sincerely

Kurt

Hello everybody ,
and it goes on ...

Another 130 mini parts, the container pads ... cut out and edges dyed ...

... then placed on deck ... now the assembly of the cranes

First, I glued the supports on the boom ... then the whole thing on the crane tower and on deck

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Don't you just HMV kits. And when their true potential is brought out as you have show, makes for a true Masterpiece.

Hi Rick ,

it is not a masterpiece , but not so bad

Hello ,

Now the two small cranes ... so all cranes are ready to start

And again filigree work on the crane hooks ... The front of the boom to be mounted

First glue the "steel cables" to the crane tower and let it dry well ... In the meantime, prepare the two smaller crane hooks

Now tension and glue the "steel cables" ... once the cables have dried through, wrap the cables once, glue them and cut them off

regards
Kurt

The two small cranes are also "wired" ... Now the bridge tower is completed, preforming the railing first.
Prepare the last small parts ... and glue them to the bridge tower

At the bow, the prepared mast is braced ... finally gluing the antenna mast,

Yours sincerely
Kurt

Now it is the goal ...
Now only the load, the container is missing ... In the contiguous containers, the edges must be colored multi-colored, I also stick a 1mm reinforcements to avoid buckling.
The colorful pile of containers must now be loaded on the ship.
You can see the result of this load in the gallery, which will follow soon.

Thus, the Conti Belgica is finished after 93 days of work with 93 hours of exciting work.

My conclusion says that this HMV bow is absolutely commendable, great pressure, minimal errors, meaningful instructions and a wonderful result!

Thank you for the lively interest on your part and kind regards

Kurt
