Container motor cargo ship Conti Belgica - HMV - 1:250

Hello friends of the seafaring

My next construction project is already announced, it goes back to the water.

With the container motor cargo ship Conti Belgica from HMV Verlag nothing can go wrong in terms of print quality and construction manual.

929 parts are distributed on ten sheets, and the lasercut set will also be used.

Hello ,

Now it starts in the yard ...................

Parts 1 + 1a are joined together with the lugs 1b + 1c .... and fixed on a glass plate to prevent distortion.

Glue on the longitudinal frame 2 ... now glue the transverse frames

All frames of the fuselage, except for frame 17, which will be cultivated in the next stage of construction, are now glued.

Best regards
Kurt

Good start and thank you for the clear building explanation.

I see you are using some wood as a square. I use small engineers squares for the same purpose. If you can find them they are very useful.

Heres one.............

Hi Kevin ,

yes these woods are very fine to use , the engineers squares I also use like you

Now continue ...

In part 18 there is a lot to cut out. With the tabs 18b to 18d ...

... are the parts 18 and 18a connected ... adjust the whole deck first without gluing, and it fits very well !!

Best regards
Kurt

Thank you Kevin ,

and continue here ...

With the glue applicator now the frames are glued piece by piece ... and always complain when drying.

After drying, the upper flaps are attached ... only now can the frames 17 + 17a be glued.

Best regards
Kurt

Nice way to get a decent square frame.
