Beaut model mate and a nice building job.
When you mentioned it is available in 1/87th I got excited and went looking.
Since when has a stack of card and paper been worth about $500?
A Dean's Marine model in a similar scale with a f/glass hull and all the metal fittings etc is around the same price, as is Billings etc.
Museum quality and R/C suitable......
I think perhaps card model publishers might need to rethink pricing policies.
Waiting for my skill level to catch up to it, I have in my possession a rather large paper/card model of HMAS Sydney along with laser cuts and brass etchings, that set me back around $100.
I thought that was a tad expensive for a card model but it is the only "Sydney" I could find, but $500 just seems silly.

Beautiful work sir!!

I sure wish the peeps that do the USS Ward would re release it in time for me to do a build before December 7th. I do have one of them that "Pie Rate" versions but I will just not go that route.

If anybody out there in the hinterlands has one they will sell please drop me a PM.
