Help on digitalnavy Yamato

Hello, I'm quite new to this forum. By the title, has anyone done this kit before, or any of the kits from digitalnavy? If so, send any tips or help this way!

Hello Kotono,
I have built several kits from Digital Navy. They are excellent in every respect.
However, I never built the Yamato. It is big and is meant for the experienced modeler.
If you are not in a hurry, it should be very enjoyable.
Regarding tips: Keep reading the threads in this forum. There are all kinds of helpful techniques and ways of doing things.

Thank you. What were your experiences with DigitalNavy? The instructions aren't really clear in my Yamato kit, and I have a feeling it applies to others as well.

Dear Kotono:
I suggest you go back to Digital Navy Site and download the free Light Ship Ambrose. Print that out build that one first to see how the designer worked. Score on the lines and use knives to cut out.
Enjoy,
Miles

All of his downloads are unlinked, and the website hasn't been updated in a long while. There's no way for me to get the files for the downloads.

The Internet never forgets - go to archive.org - Digitalnavy.com into the Wayback machine and pick a date before the downloads were turned off - 2006 is good.

Look here for my Digital Navy models of TAKAO and FUSO, and enjoy. By the way, they are not that difficult to build, I found the manuals very clear !!
